First Team Meeting

What a great team we have for the Budapest 20/10 trip!  We had our first team meeting Tuesday evening.  I know God has great things in store!!

We discussed divine appointments and team members shared some of their experiences: Tammy showed kindness toward an old man at Walmart one afternoon and ended up meeting with him whenever she went to the store.  Pam shared how one of the cancer patients witnessed to her.  Ann talked about the way God had answered prayer in her son's life this last week.  Kim shared how a work related meeting ended up being a significant sharing time about the Lord. Fred talked about meeting a man on the beach in the Dominican Republic.  I shared about a woman who had a call in the middle of the night from a stranger who she ended up leading to the Lord.

Since our Tuesday meeting, God has been giving us new divine appointments:  Pam felt led to take time with one of her cancer patients and she was able to listen to some of this woman's concerns and prayer needs.  Michael talked with a woman in Panera, and I contacted two women on the computer, a playmate of my sister's who I haven't seen in over 40 years and a female soldier in Kuwait.  I know I would have missed some of these opportunities if I wasn't praying to expect them!

I'm anxious to hear what other team members have encountered this week!!

  1. Gail and Michael: My heart is full of gratitude as I reflect on how God is bringing our team together in unity and purpose (not to mention laughter!) I know that your faithfulness in prayer and preparation is paving the way for God to work in us and through us. Thank you for so wonderfully partnering with Him! I'm grateful--and excited!
